Ramat Hanadiv is an enchanting memorial garden for the baron Edmond DE Rothschild. He loved Israel so much, he spend a lot of his money to build it and bring the latest agriculture and techniques to develop the country. When he died, his sons brought him to Israel to be buried in his beloved place, near Zichron Yaacov, a palce now called, ramat hanadiv, which means the generous one.
The memorial gardens sprawl across approximately seven hectares (17.5 acres), surrounding the Baron and Baroness Rothschild’s crypt.
